原来朋友可以“相隔”那么远 作者：赵孟季 他推开门，在门外甩了甩外套上的水走了进来，连看都没有看就把外套扔在了鞋架旁边的暖气片上。满屋子飘的都是饭香，厨房传出吱啦吱啦的声音，他一屁股坐在椅子上，点了支春城，吆喝起来：“你今天怎么这么晚才做饭啊！”厨房那边没有回音，想必是门关得严实，做饭的肖晓没有听到，他也不再追问，随手拿起身边的一本超市广告册子翻了起来，嘴里一边嘟囔：“这还让不让人活了，一桶油卖到80元，再涨人们就可以喝汽油了。”其实他根本不知道平常油是多少钱，也不知道汽油什么价。对于百无聊赖的生活，他已经很麻木，每一天上班都是搞得一身水，肖晓在暖气上给他烤着三件棉衣也来不及换，无论春夏秋冬，一个电话他就要跳进水里去修那根本可能就没有坏的水闸，要么就是在大晴天，冒雨用身体堵住崩出的水柱，这就是他的工作。他在自来水公司上了二十多年的班，从来没有迟到过，肖晓说有什么活了，让年轻人干，他说他们那里根本没有年轻人，年轻人都在办公室看报纸呢！ “你回来了” ，肖晓从厨房端出一盘拇指宽的带鱼。他瞅了瞅鱼，又瞅了瞅她的脸，脸色阴沉下来，“你不知道现在鱼多少钱一斤啊？你没有接到女儿让寄学费的信吗？真搞不懂，最近你是不是疯了，还是在外面遇到大款了，天天大鱼大肉的。”肖晓没有理他，转身径直的走进厨房，传来的是钢筋勺在翻沟里盛汤的声音。他们晚餐不怎么爱说话，各吃各的，谁吃完谁刷谁的碗，最后的菜盘与汤锅一向是肖晓的，他没有吃带鱼，用馒头在菜汤里蘸了蘸便塞在嘴里，吃着用筷子拨了拨那七八块带鱼，“你吃吧，我不喜欢吃鱼，刺多，吃完了汤留着，明天早上给我下面条。”他已经吃了三个馒头，盘子里的菜汤已经所剩无几，他看了看，一口喝完了碗里的汤，拿起碗去厨房刷了。回来的时候从兜里掏出一沓钞票，也就是六七张的样子，递给肖晓，“上个月的工资，一共600，奖了一百元的保暖费。”她把钱揣在兜了，起身收拾饭桌，忙活了半天，回来对仍然拿着广告册的他说，“今天武彬来了，放在这里一万块钱。”她从刚才揣钱的兜里掏出更多的钞票放在茶几上。 “谁让你要他钱的，我给你说了，女儿的学费我会有办法的。我不认识他，他心里还有我？我以为他睡觉都是和钱睡的呢！”他拿起钱，重重的摔在地上，“想当初在越南，我是怎么救他的，前面是敌人的战壕，后面是自己人的坦克，他趴在地上一动不动，尿都快吓出来了，眼看坦克就要压死他，是我上去把他拉出来的，回来以后分到一个单位，总想着往上爬，爬我不反对，可是不能拿兄弟们的命开玩笑啊，那次大年新街区抢险，为了给老百姓供水，让人马上下去，那水里还有冰碴了，结果怎么样，管网是修好了，他升官了，我落了个哮喘，反正他是一个忘恩负义的王八蛋。”他说着又从地方捡起来起钱，“我明天去他办公室甩他脸上。” 他和他一起当兵，又一起回地方工作，在3年前，因为这么一件小事结束了他俩的情谊，每一次在同事面前喝酒，他都会喋喋不休的数落着他，他也从来没有找他辩解，见了他仍然面带微笑，可他不一样，要么躲着他，就是见了他也没有好脸。肖晓从另外的一个兜里拿出一张纸条：“这是你们单位前两天的体检报告，武彬拿来的，你自己看看吧！”她把纸条递给他，清楚地看见上面写着，肺积水三个字，建议住院观察。他刚要说话，肖晓把话头抢了过去：“武彬得了肺癌，他说当年他就有肺心病，在考虑敢不敢下水时，你就下去了，他也没有说什么，后来也不知道怎么向你解释。”她从他手里拿过钱，“你知道为金金提供前两年学费的好心人是谁吗？就是他！他今天已经办了住院手续，说怕是没有多长时间了，把钱放在这里，一部分是金金的学费，一部分给你看病。” 他听到这里，如梦方醒般的一句话也说不出来，这股因为一件小事积攒的多年怨气一下子消失了，他又点了根烟，“明天我们去医院，顺便去看看他。” 当他来到武彬的床前，武彬正在看报纸，看见他让他坐下：“我这病从小就有，当兵的时候就瞒着你们，就怕领导让我回家，要不是你那次拉了一把，我那次犯病可能就过去了，现在癌变了，看来我是逃不过去了，三年前我真的打心眼里不忍心让你下去。” “你不用说了，我懂，这么多年我们在一个单位，天天都可能遇见，但是我们的心远了，可你一直把我当朋友，今天我才明白，原来朋友可以“相隔”那么远。”说着，他的眼睛里的泪水像崩了闸的水管，一下子涌了出来。
